FUJIMORI Internship Diary: Day 2 of Intern

During work, one of our colleague shared this delicacy with us. We were super fascinated by this mochi looking Odango but its not mochi. It was our first time trying this out and it tasted good.

For Lunch, we bought lunch from the Vending Machine which was an eye opener for us because we dont have this in Singapore. Furthermore, it really saved us alot of trouble of not being able to communicate in Japanese. All we did was look at the display and choose our preferred food item, then we will receive a food coupon with which we will give to the counter and our order will be processed. Singapore should have this technology, definitely save time and effort.

Another colleague of ours came in to the office and passed us two sets of umbrella and slippers as it was predicted that it will be pouring tomorrow. We are truly blessed and beyond grateful. Simple gestures like these really warm our hearts when we are far away from home.
