The Day We Crossed the Shibuya

Left our apartment early in the morning as we were excited for our off day and the sightseeing that awaits us.
We were eager to take our first train ride to our first stop, Shibuya. We had a lot of difficulties figuring out which train station to alight as Japan's metro is really complicated and we weren't sure of the way. They have alot of different lines such that they were not able to show every station on their map.

And we finally reached Shibuya 109 to do some "shopping". In the end we didnt buy any clothes as the clothes prices were very pricey ): The minimum we had to spend if we were to get a top was around 20 SGD.

The amount of people crossing blew our hair away.

This was taken at Shibuya Crossing!!! The famous crossing where tourist like us will frantically run to the center just to take a photo hehehe. We ran to and fro at least 3 times just to grab a photo and video of ourselves

All the cute costumes. hehehe #PooPride

We had lunch at Midori sushi. The sushi was so so so fresh, killed and chopped right before our eyes. The fish was brutally murdered in 5 seconds and on our plate on the sixth second. We were taken aback by the scanner they used to count the dishes we ate according to the colour. SUGEIIIIIIII!!

We proceeded to Harajuku to do more shopping hehehe. IT WAS SO CROWDED even when it was a weekday. We learnt from our colleague that wednesday was actually a relax day and people do not work overtime.

Next stop: Line Friends

As we all know Japan's underground train is infamous for its packed train. So yesterday we became one of the sardines. Like this ~

The handle bar was located at such a high position and far from reach for short people like us...AND when people reach out to hold it, their arms are high in the hair exposing their underarms ;(

OHHHHHH forget to update that we finally found a sugared drink that tastes good:')
Since all their drinks are sugarless unlike in Singapore. Definitely need some getting used to.
IF you are like us, you would have to load some syrup into your pockets.

And thats all for today...TOODLES~~~~~~
